We often receive queries of staff experiencing difficulties filling out PDF forms on their laptop. Please note, if you are filling out a form you will need to use the “Adobe Acrobat” software on your laptop. By default, any PDF will open in Chrome, which is good for reading however it will not save any text you enter into the document.

Here are the steps to ensure you are using “Adobe Acrobat” when filling out a PDF.

  1. Download the document (this could be from Schoolbox or the internet depending on what it is you are trying to fill out).
  2. Save the document to a safe location on your computer in OneDrive.
  3. Right Click on the document and select “Open with > Adobe Acrobat DC”.

  1. Edit the document.
  2. Click Save.
